Colour Innovations constantly works at attaining the best environmental practices and, in doing so,
is recognized by a number of national and international environmental leadership bodies. EcoLogo-CertifiedEcoLogo is North America’s most widely recognized and respected certification of environmental leadership, setting standards and certifying products. Colour Innovations prides itself on having a vigorous environmental policy and is EcoLogo CCD-041 TerraChoice-certified by the federal government. In fact, Colour Innovations was the first printer in Ontario to be CCD-041-certified in 1997. The EcoLogo program was developed to help move the entire marketplace toward sustainability, stewarded by TerraChoice environmental marketing. EcoLogo considers an organization's overall environmental stance, as opposed to just one initiative, and that is a significant change in mindset. In our case, EcoLogo certification means that we have identified the process by which jobs move through our plant, have assessed the resulting environmental impact, and have taken steps to reduce our effluent by more than 90%.
